What level of coffee bean roasting is recommended for cold brew?
Medium-dark to dark-roast beans are recommended for efficient extraction. Light-roasted or medium-roasted beans may not produce fully extracted coffee.
What level of coffee bean grinding is recommended for cold brew?
Medium-coarse to coarse-ground coffee is recommended. Set the grinder to produce particles in the range of 1.0~1.6mm, or follow the recommended settings for French Press or Cold Brew as suggested by the grinder manufacturers.
What kind of water is recommended for cold brew?
Since most of your coffee is water, it is essential to use the correct type of water for optimal results. Use filtered water and avoid using tap water or well water, as they may contain minerals that can affect the taste of the coffee.
How much coffee and water do I use with the Cold Brew System?
Add 100g (3.5oz) of coffee to the coffee filter (there is a 3.5oz mark on the surface of the filter) and add 700ml of water to the jar, or fill the water up to the “MAX” mark on the glass jar to produce 500~550g of cold brew concentrate.
100g coffee + 700g water = 500g concentrate
What are the dilution guidelines for Shelbru concentrate?
As a rule of thumb, we suggest using 1 part concentrate and 4 parts water or milk.
Feel free to adjust the dilution ratio to suit your preference! For concentrates with higher TDS values like Coffee & Chicory, you can dilute with water/milk on a 1:5~1:6 ratio.
For lower TDS value concentrates you can dilute with water/milk 1:3 ratio.

I love this! I always have one jar of cold brew for drinking while the other brews, and the metal strainer keeps all the grounds out of the cold brew! They’re a great size too, they don’t take up too much fridge space. Not much to this--the concept is pretty straightforward. This is a product for regular coldbrew drinkers that are looking for an efficient and attractive solution to their coffee process. It just minimizes the number of containers and extra steps you have maintaining a rotation of having one batch brewing and one batch ready. The materials and build quality are excellent, and the components are easy to clean. All you need.
Easy way to make a perfect cold brew. Filter works great and with second glass easy to have always a cold brew ready in the fridge. Would recommend!
I had been buying black cold brew from the grocery store, in order to make my daily coffee! When I saw this simple system, I just wanted to give it a try and see whether I can successfully make me some cold brew at home, with easy cleanup!
This does the job! The mouth on the containers are wide giving me a lot of room so that I can put my hand inside to clean it! I love that the system just have a could have pieces that make it easy to clean and use.
My coffee was strong ☺️. I wish I could make bigger batches at a time, but this will do. I love that you have two containers so you can get another batch of brewing done while the other is ready for use.
